Your doctor reviews medical and exposure history, examines the skin or relevant areas when appropriate, and discusses likely triggers. Testing is recommended only where clinically indicated — many people need advice, avoidance guidance, or another diagnosis pathway rather than a test on the first visit.
Different allergy tests investigate different types of reactions. Where further investigation is appropriate, available options depend on the clinic's confirmed services and may involve in-clinic testing or laboratory arrangements.
