How to Choose an Aesthetic Clinic in Singapore: A Checklist
Singapore has hundreds of aesthetic providers. This checklist covers what genuinely differentiates them — who treats you, how you're assessed, safety protocols and pricing transparency — plus the red flags to walk away from.
Start with who actually treats you
Aesthetic outcomes track the person holding the device or needle far more than the brand on the door. Before anything else, establish: is the assessment done by a registered doctor? Are injectables and energy-device treatments doctor-performed? How experienced is that doctor with the specific procedure you are considering?
You can verify a doctor's registration on the Singapore Medical Council's public register. A credible clinic answers these questions plainly — evasiveness about who performs a procedure is itself an answer.
Judge the consultation, not the lobby
A well-run consultation follows a recognisable shape: your concern is examined (not just discussed), a diagnosis or assessment is explained in words you understand, options are compared honestly — including cheaper or more conservative ones — and expectations are set realistically. Only then does a plan and its price appear.

Safety infrastructure: the part you cannot see from marketing

Pricing transparency and the economics of trust
Transparent clinics quote a plan: what is being treated, with what, how many sessions, what is included, and what maintenance costs look like.
