A nose thread lift places fine, dissolvable threads (commonly PDO) along the nose bridge and sometimes the tip to add definition and support. For the right candidate it delivers a straighter-looking bridge and a subtly lifted tip without surgery — but the threads dissolve gradually over months, so the effect is temporary and results vary by individual. Any clinic promising permanent or dramatic reshaping is overselling what threads can do.
Before any treatment is planned, your doctor examines your nose structure, skin thickness and proportions, and asks what you actually want to change. Some goals suit threads well; others are better served by fillers, a combination approach, or surgical referral — and you will be told plainly if threads are not appropriate for you.
If you proceed, the procedure is done under local anaesthesia in clinic and typically takes under an hour. Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising for a few days is common. Your doctor will go through aftercare, what to avoid while the threads settle, and when to return for review.
