Why there is no flat price for CO₂ laser
Two people can walk into the same clinic asking for 'CO₂ laser' and leave with plans that legitimately differ several-fold in cost. The 'cheap CO₂ laser' trap
CO₂ resurfacing is a genuine medical procedure: an ablative laser, operated on prescription-strength settings, on your face. When a price looks dramatically lower than everywhere else, something in the equation has been cut — and it is worth knowing what. Common answers: the settings are turned down so far the treatment barely resurfaces (you pay less per session but need many more), the device is not a true fractional CO₂, the operator is not a doctor, or there is no real assessment and aftercare behind the session.
The most expensive outcome in aesthetics is a cheap procedure that goes wrong — a burn or pigmentation problem on the face costs far more to manage than the difference between quotes. There is no single figure — cost depends on the area treated, the number of sessions your plan needs, the intensity of the settings, and whether the laser is combined with treatments like subcision or RF microneedling.
