— Who this page is for

Who this page is for

Medi-facials suit people who want more than a relaxing spa facial — treatment chosen for a specific skin condition, under medical supervision. Your skin is assessed before any facial is recommended.

  • Spa facials aren't enough

Your skin concerns — congestion, dullness, early aging — persist despite regular spa facials, and you want a clinically planned alternative.

  • Interested in collagen support

You have searched for collagen facials and want to understand what genuinely supports skin collagen versus what is just a treatment name.

  • Maintaining results between treatments

You do laser, skin boosters, or other clinic treatments and want medical-grade facials as structured maintenance in between.

  • Sensitive or reactive skin

Your skin reacts unpredictably and you would rather have facials chosen under medical supervision than experiment at a spa.

— What this involves

What a medi-facial involves

A medi-facial is a facial treatment performed in a clinical setting using medical-grade products and devices, with the protocol chosen after a skin assessment. Unlike a standard spa facial, the steps — cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, infusion, masking — are selected for your specific skin condition rather than from a fixed menu.

Collagen-focused facials sit within this family: treatments aimed at supporting skin hydration, firmness, and overall quality. Your doctor or supervised therapist will be honest about what a facial can achieve on its own and when a concern needs a different treatment entirely — facials support skin condition, they do not replace medical treatment where one is needed.

Most medi-facials involve little to no downtime; mild redness for a few hours is the most common effect. Many patients schedule them as regular maintenance, and the interval is planned around your skin rather than a fixed package. A personalised recommendation and quote follow your assessment.

For visitors in Singapore: our clinics are at Tanjong Pagar and East Coast, and a number of our facial patients book whichever location is more convenient. The skin assessment comes first, with no obligation to book a series.

Common questions

A medi-facial is performed in a clinical setting under medical supervision, using medical-grade products and devices, with the protocol chosen after a skin assessment. Spa facials prioritise relaxation; medi-facials prioritise your skin condition. Both have their place — they simply serve different goals.

Topical facials mainly support hydration, skin barrier health, and overall skin quality; meaningful collagen stimulation usually requires energy-based or injectable treatments. We will tell you honestly what a facial can achieve and recommend a different pathway if your goal needs more than a facial.

We see patients at SBF Center, 160 Robinson Road #03-10, in the Tanjong Pagar CBD (call +65 8851 9547), The Flow Mall, 66 East Coast Road #03-05, in Katong on the East Coast (call +65 8857 4917), and Novena Medical Centre, 10 Sinaran Drive #10-30, in Novena (call +65 8851 9505). All three clinics offer the same doctor-led consultations, so you can choose whichever location is more convenient.

SBF Center on Robinson Road is about a three-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT (East–West Line) in the CBD, The Flow Mall on East Coast Road in Katong is a short walk from Marine Parade MRT on the Thomson–East Coast Line, and Novena Medical Centre on Sinaran Drive is a short sheltered walk from Novena MRT on the North–South Line. If you drive, all three buildings have carparks, with further public parking nearby.

Usually little to none. Mild redness or warmth for a few hours is the most common effect, and most patients return to normal activities immediately. If your personalised protocol involves stronger exfoliation, your therapist will brief you on aftercare beforehand.

It depends on your skin condition and goals — common intervals range from every few weeks to monthly maintenance. Rather than selling a fixed package, we plan the interval around how your skin responds, reviewed over time.
